Job Description

Southern Technical is seeking a Librarian. The Librarian is responsible for all Library/Learning Resource Center operations. The Librarian's general responsibilities will include: Managing the overall operation of the library at the campus. Participating in Orientation, including teaching Library usage Supporting other departments in the college to ensure satisfactory customer service, including ordering, filing, and other general administrative duties. Proctoring admissions entrance exams.
The successful candidate will have:
A Bachelors in either the Library Science or Information Specialist fields. Sufficient work experience in a library setting. Customer service focus Ability to work with limited supervision Computer literacy Effective communication skills. Morning and evening hours are necessary to provide service to all students.
