Reference Librarian

at Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield, Illinois, United States Job Description Essential Functions Serves as the Reference Librarian. Performs complex reference work and historical research in response to internal agency requests. Works closely with cataloging department to assist with collection maintenance utilizing library software. Hosts visiting groups to library and presents public programs regarding the use of collections, the library in general, and the published collection. Prepares written and oral reports. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
