Job Description

The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Job Summary A Summer Library Student Worker provides essential support for daily library operations, focusing on customer service, circulation tasks, and collection maintenance. Typical duties include checking materials in/out, shelving books, and performing special projects.

Job Responsibilities
    Circulation Services:
    Check library materials (books, media) in and out and assist with course reserves.
      Collection Maintenance:
      Shelve books, read shelves for accuracy, shift collections, and maintain tidy, organized stacks.
      • Assist with special projects.
      • Perform light cleaning.
      Job Requirements
      • Must be a student enrolled in classes (or enrolled for the upcoming fall semester).
      • Strong customer service and communication skills.
      • Attention to detail for sorting and shelving.
      • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull heavy book carts.
