Full Job Description Hours:
3 days/week (preferably M-W); 8:00am to 3:00pm Empower students to become critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, and skillful researchers Catalog books, media and materials and manage their availability to the students and faculty; order library materials and resources, once approved by the principal; manage print, electronic resource collections/databases and technology in the library Instruct and supervise Pre K3-Grade 8 students during their weekly library period on proper and efficient use of the library Collaborate with teachers in implementing integrated instructional activities (eg. School-wide Book of the Month Program)
Qualifications:
Hold a BA degree with a preference for a major in Library Sciences Have previous experience working in an elementary school library Be well-organized and committed; creative and energetic
