SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Applicant must possess specialized experience at the next lower grade level (PG-06) in federal service: Specialized experience may include 1) Following library regulations, procedures, and policies related to one or more library functions or specializations (acquisitions, cataloging, digitization, etc.); AND 2) Using integrated library systems and other bibliographic databases to accurately search for publications, match publications to bibliographic information, identify duplicate or versions of publications, and create preliminary bibliographic and order records; AND 3) Interpreting detailed library information from various internal and external systems to provide accurate information for research, responding to inquiries, and other library tasks. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement( 04/21/2026) to be considered.
