Full Job Description Part-Time:
15 hours per week (non-exempt)
Wage:
$17.50 -$21.00 depending on qualifications Reports to:
Children's Department Assistant Manager Location:
Main Library Position Description:
We're looking for an energetic, fun, customer-service oriented individual s to act as our part-time associate in a busy Children's Department. Duties include shelving, helping kids and their grown-ups with technology and reference questions, assisting with collection maintenance, and helping programmers prepare for and present classes.
Minimum Qualifications:
LTA or equivalent college credits. Previous experience working with children preferred. Bilingual (Spanish/English) language ability a plus.
Hours & Work Schedules:
15 hours weekly:
Mondays & Thursdays:
4-9;
Fridays:
12-5; Participation in weekend rotation. Schedules subject to change dependent upon Library needs.
