Job Description

The Dover Town Library seeks a part-time Library Assistant with a passion for excellent customer service and a penchant for energetic library programs. This role includes general circulation tasks, basic reference assistance, and collaborative program support, including the Library's popular Super Awesome Fun Time events for children. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and value working on a team with ample opportunities for cross-training.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma and up to a year of library experience. A willingness to learn to lead children's programs in song, dance, and story is a must-have.
Hours:
19 hours per week, working some evenings and every other Saturday. The current schedule is Mondays 10am-6pm, Wednesdays 2pm-8pm, and alternating Thursdays/Saturdays 10am-4pm.
Compensation:
