Back to Job Listings Substitute Library Assistant, Boyden Library, Foxborough (Foxborough) The Boyden Library, Town of Foxborough, is seeking applicants for the position of Substitute Library Assistant. The Substitute Library Assistant does not have a set schedule and provides fill-in coverage for regular staff on an as-needed basis.

Essential Functions:

• Performs circulation desk duties at either Adult or Children's Circulation Desks
• Answers telephone, checks materials in and out, issues library cards, processes patron reserve requests, and provides basic library information
• Standing, lifting, bending, and stretching to retrieve or reshelve library materials
• Performs other related duties as needed Qualifications Recommended Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma, minimum
• Must have previous library experience and/or experience working with the public

Supplemental Information:

• May be called to work during day, evening, and/or weekend hours.
