Salary:
Based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement (Library Tech)
Schedule:
29 hours a week, split position between High School & Middle School HS hours: Monday 11:30am-2pm, Wednesday 8am -2:30pm and Friday 8-2:30pm MS hours: Tuesday & Thursday 7:15am-3pm Library Technicians - These individuals collaborate with a variety of staff members and students. They must possess knowledge of audio-visual equipment and relevant software, have the ability to troubleshoot computer issues, and be responsible for maintaining and managing the inventory of library materials and equipment.
Qualifications:
Instructional Techs must meet one of the following requirements: Complete at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (equal to 60 semester hours); or Obtain an associate's degree (or higher); or Meet a rigorous standard of quality and demonstrate, through a formal state or local academic assessment. The Michigan State Board of Education has approved the following formal assessments by which a teacher assistant can demonstrate knowledge, such as ETS parapro Assessment.
