Job Description

The Ontonagon Township Library is seeking to hire a self-motivated,friendly person as our new Library Clerk.
Responsibilities:
Staffing the circulation desk (checking books in and out, general patron assistance, etc.) Support with library programs (Summer Reading Program, Story Hour, etc) Processing incoming and outgoing Inter-Library Loan materials Additional duties as library needs dictate (covering books, creating book and bulletin board displays, library reports, book repair, local history research requests, social media maintenance, etc.) This position requires flexibility and attention to detail. Must be able to prioritize and switch between tasks as needed. Applicants should have a working knowledge of the Dewey Decimal system and Microsoft. Should be proficient with computers. 24 hrs/week, $14.00/hr, 6-month introductory/probationary period.
