Birth to Age 5 Programmer/LIbrary Clerk

The Birth to Age 5 Programmer/Library Clerk is a motivated, outgoing and tech-savvy team player that assists with a variety of library duties. This part time position (up to 20 hours) requires one evening every other month and one half-day Saturday a month. Schedule for days and times can be negotiable.

Responsibilities include:

Perform all aspects of service desk work including tasks through Evergreen, assigning new cards, checking in/out items, helping library patrons use library resources, shelving books Plan and provide age and developmentally appropriate programming collaboratively for birth to age 5 patrons, including but not limited to Summer Reading Program, 1000 Books by Kindergarten Program, planning Story Hour, etc. Perform outreach to local schools, daycares and other children's' facilities Post library content regularly to social media and help keep website updated Contact the Library Director to apply or for more information, 573-267-3200 or rallscountylibrary@gmail.com Position open until filled.
