You'll love this job if: You take pride in being organized You are detail-oriented You can have fun at work You can be flexible What you'll do: Provide prompt, professional assistance to users in locating library materials and resources. Receive, sort, open, and process all library mail on a daily basis. Responsible for expert witness database to include retrieval of information, scanning and data entry. Sort and distribute incoming materials in accordance with established attorney routing lists. Oversee the accurate shelving and organization of books, periodicals, and other materials. Ensure timely and precise filing of loose‑leaf services, supplements, and pocket parts. Conduct non‑legal research utilizing both traditional and electronic resources. Respond to research, reference, and information retrieval requests in a timely and service-oriented manner. Coordinate with local libraries and external resources to obtain materials as needed.
You should have:
Interpersonal skills to work with other Sandberg Phoenix members in a positive, teamwork environment to service our clients. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos and legal documents. Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Outlook, Excel) and working knowledge of database software. Proficient in filing systems. Ability to provide exceptional client service. Basic keyboarding skills (40 - 50 wpm).
