Job Description

Job Overview This role offers a hands-on opportunity for individuals interested in exploring sales in the design industry while gaining valuable insight from product sourcing and showroom operations to client engagement and designer relations. The position is ideal for someone eager to gain exposure to multiple facets of the design field gaining real-world exposure to how a fast-paced, high-end design showroom operates day-to-day. The samples librarian will collaborate with experienced professionals and have the unique opportunity to interact with leading designers from across the country, gaining valuable industry insight and connections in a collaborative and inspiring environment. Key Responsibilities and Expectations Organize and maintain the samples library. Coordinate and ship samples to designers and clients in a timely manner. Support sales representatives during meetings with interior designers and clients. Help prepare showroom presentations and materials for appointments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the showroom and sample areas. Perform general administrative and operational support tasks as needed. Qualifications College graduate with a background or strong interest in interior design, textiles & furniture, or a related field. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Professional, reliable, and proactive attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable transportation.
