Wage:
$10.50 an hour Books don't shelve themselves. We need you! The Mukwonago Community Library seeks a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our Circulation & Customer Experience Team as a Library Page. This permanent position includes shelving library materials according to alphabetical and numerical order, checking in returned materials, processing interlibrary loan deliveries, emptying book drops, and sorting materials onto carts. Additional responsibilities include shelf reading and other essential behind-the-scenes tasks that keep our library running smoothly. The ideal candidate will work efficiently and accurately, demonstrate strong organizational skills, manage time well, and thrive working independently while contributing to our library's success.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to communicate in a friendly and cooperative manner to staff and library visitors Ability to meet the physical needs of the job including pushing carts, bending, carrying, and standing Ability to work assigned shifts with minimal disruption throughout the summer Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience shelving, organizing, and/or alphabetizing materials All applicants are subject to fingerprinting and a background check. Employment is contingent on passing those assessments.
