Position Overview:
La Paloma Academy is seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join our team for the following openings: 3rd Grade Teacher 6th Grade Teacher Junior High Math Reteach & Enrichment Teacher We are looking for educators who are committed to academic excellence, character development, and creating inclusive, engaging classrooms where all students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned instruction Differentiate lessons to meet diverse student needs Use assessment data to guide instruction and improve student outcomes Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom culture Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues Collaborate with grade-level teams and support staff Additional Responsibilities (Math Reteach & Enrichment Role): Provide targeted math intervention and enrichment for junior high students Analyze student performance data to identify gaps and extend learning Support students in developing confidence and mastery in mathematics
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred) Valid Arizona teaching certification (or ability to obtain) Strong instructional and classroom management skills Commitment to student growth, equity, and character development Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching upper elementary or junior high grades Background in math intervention, RTI, or enrichment programs Familiarity with standards-based instruction and data-driven practices
