Your Role:
Teach four periods of Math to special needs students. Create and maintain a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Prepare engaging lessons that accommodate individual student needs. Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and media to enhance learning. Assess student progress through diverse evaluation methods. Collaborate with the Behavior Specialist and Program Director. Maintain open communication with students, parents, and community members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field (required). Special Education/Teacher Certification (preferred). Previous experience in teaching Math and working with special needs students (preferred). Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one. Valid AZ Driver's License.
Additional Information:
Work Hours:
7:30 am - 3:30 pm, 4 days a week
School Hours:
9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Lunch Break:
45 minutes.
