Length of Work Year 188 days Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary Under general supervision, the Math Teacher is responsible for educating middle school students in 6th-8th grade. The Math Teacher is also responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and assessing a comprehensive classroom instructional program. This includes using the school-adopted curriculum and the provided scope and sequence of instruction that serves all students with a focus on multi-subject instruction and cultural awareness. Additional key responsibilities include lesson designs, lesson planning, and maintaining accurate gradebook records. The Math Teacher must also promote an understanding of the school rules and the United Auburn Indian Community's cultural heritage and values. This position must routinely use tact, poise, and good judgment while communicating with internal and external contacts, offices, and organizations.
