Length of Work Year 187 work-day calendar, starting August 10, 2026 Employment Type Full Time Location District Office Schedule 8hrs/day; 5 days/ week (Monday-Friday);187 work-day calendar, starting August 10, 2026 Job Summary Job Summary The Mathematics TOSA improves student achievement in mathematics by supporting the implementation of newly adopted district curriculum, evidence-based instructional practices, intervention systems, and assessment processes. The Mathematics TOSA serves as an instructional leader by collaborating with teachers, administrators, and support staff to strengthen Tier I mathematics instruction through the effective implementation of mathematical practices aligned to the California Mathematics Framework and State Standards. This position supports the analysis of student data, provides targeted intervention support, and promotes equitable access to rigorous, engaging, and high-quality mathematics instruction for all students. This position will be critical in ensuring the rollout of our new adopted material is implemented with fidelity throughout our district. View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Possession of a valid California Teaching Credential
  • CLAD or equivalent English Learner authorization required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience, preferably in mathematics instruction at the elementary and/or secondary level
  • Experience working with students from diverse racial, cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Demonstrated knowledge of California Mathematics Frameworks, State Standards, and best instructional practices in mathematics
  • Experience with data analysis, intervention systems, and differentiated instruction
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to educational equity and closing achievement gaps
  • Ability to provide coaching, mentoring, and professional learning to certificated staff
  • Possession of a valid California driver's license and ability to travel between school sites
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Education, Mathematics, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field
  • Experience serving in a leadership, coaching, or instructional support role
  • Training and/or experience in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and mathematics intervention practices
