The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves teaching various mathematical concepts, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Discrete Math, while also incorporating technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students. Teach mathematical concepts such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Discrete Math in an engaging manner. Utilize learning technology and instructional design to enhance classroom experiences. Assess student performance through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Mentor students in their academic pursuits and provide tutoring as needed. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and instructional strategies. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents regarding academic performance. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with high SAT Score Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in higher education or private school environments. Strong knowledge of mathematical principles including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Differential Equations, and Discrete Math. Familiarity with scientific subjects such as Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Laboratory Experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Proven classroom management skills and experience in lesson planning.
