  • Full-time Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to facilitate student learning.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and student engagement.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
  • Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal growth.
  • Foster a safe and respectful classroom environment that encourages open discussion and critical thinking.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of math and social studies content, including pre-algebra, algebra 1, world history, US history, and geography.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students.
  • Ability to create engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Proficient in classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively plan lessons, manage resources, and assess student work.
  • Mentoring skills to provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal development.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Valid teaching certification.
Experience:
  • Previous teaching experience.
