ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Teach high school and middle school classes (multiple disciplines) according to school curriculum (Mathematics, Technology, as well as taking part in our robotics program) 2. Provide for the management/motivation of each student, meeting individual needs as they arise 3. Guide in academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth of each student 4. Maintain accurate student records & prepare quarterly grade reports 5. Assist in supervision of students during breaks and lunchtime 6. Help in keeping curriculum storage rooms cleaned and stocked (in coordination with other middle/high school staff) 7. Attend weekly staff meetings as called by Principal and/or Administrator 8. Provide for cleaning of classrooms, locker area, and break room (in coordination with other middle/high school staff) 9. Must be at annual parent-teacher conferences, and available for other needed conferences. 10. Any other duties to be assigned by Principal and/or Administration
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in related field (required) Teaching Certification (preferred) Applicable teaching experience
PREFERRED SKILLS
Conflict resolution Classroom management Some Microsoft Office proficiency Tech Savvy Familiar with simple coding (Block-Chain for robotics)
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Schedule Da Daily:
7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (5 hours on teacher workdays)
Weekly:
Tuesday through Friday (see calendar for exceptions)
Annually:
Mid-August to Mid-May (possible additional hours)
