Until filled Greenwich Public Schools seeks Grades K-5 mathematics interventionist(s) for its 2026 Summer School program. The Elementary Summer School will be located at New Lebanon Elementary School, and will run from July 6 through August 13, Mondays through Thursdays. Mathematics interventionists will work 7:45-11:15 a.m., which includes 30 minutes of planning time, and have four 40-minute student sessions (8:00-8:40, 8:45-9:25, 9:30-10:10, 10:20-11:00). An additional preparation day will occur on June 29, 2026. Grades K-5 mathematics interventionists must be certified to teach students in grades K-5. Preference will be given to teachers with experience as a mathematics interventionist. Compensation for all hours will be at the individual teacher's hourly per diem rate as based on the Agreement between the Greenwich Board of Education and the Greenwich Education Association. Positions are dependent on student enrollment. Preference will be given to Greenwich Public Schools teachers contracted for the 2026-27 school year, and then to other Greenwich Public Schools benefits-eligible employees.
