INTERNAL ONLY Title:
Instructional Paraeducator, 27.5
Hours/week Starting Date :
August 2026
Responsibilities:
Work under the direction of general education teacher(s) to support individuals and/or small groups of students in the areas of reading, writing and/or math Ability to positively support the development of social-emotional skills Provide assistance to teacher(s) in classroom tasks Assist in other various capacities, as needed Specific duties will vary based on grade level, content area, and student needs
Skills Required:
Ability to assist in classroom instruction to support student learning Ability to follow through on directions Ability to establish positive rapport with students Possess strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to remain calm, neutral and patient Adapts easily to change
Qualifications:
Must have completed the equivalent of 2 years of study at an institution of higher education, OR earned an Associate's Degree (or higher), OR attained a passing score on the ETS ParaPro Assessment.
