Lead Educator

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in literacy education and childhood development, with the ability to create engaging lesson plans that foster a love for learning in young children. This role involves working closely with students to support their academic growth and development through effective teaching strategies and individualized attention. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, focusing on literacy, math, and other core subjects. Provide tutoring and early intervention support to students who may need additional assistance. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional methods as needed to meet diverse learning needs. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support student development both academically and socially. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior. Requirements 45 Hours of DCF training Infant and Toddler CPR Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching methodologies. Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management. Familiarity with tutoring techniques and early intervention strategies for students struggling in specific areas. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for educating children and fostering their growth in a supportive learning environment.
