Position Description Secondary Math Teacher (9th- 12th) Position Overview Colonial Christian School, a FACCS fully accredited school, is seeking to hire an enthusiastic Secondary Math Teacher to join our dedicated team Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with curriculum standards Teach middle school students (grades 9-12) a range of mathematical topics including arithmetic, pre-algebra, and introductory algebra Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and projects Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students Maintain a structured, respectful, and positive classroom environment Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance student learning Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and needs Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and administration Uphold and model Christian values in all interactions Qualifications A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university Highly developed oral & written communication skills Ability to build relationships effectively & professionally with families & students Physical ability to handle frequent sitting, standing, & moving throughout the classroom Active member of their church Compensation & Benefits Salary based on level of education & experience Tuition discount Retirement plan with employer contribution Employer paid Life & Disability insurance
