Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused Intervention Teacher with a strong background in Mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA) to support middle school students requiring intensive academic intervention. The ideal candidate is passionate about accelerating student growth, closing learning gaps, and providing targeted small-group instruction. Key Responsibilities Provide small-group and individualized instruction in Math and ELA for students performing below grade level Implement research-based intervention strategies to support academic growth Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention with core instruction Monitor student progress using assessments and data-driven instruction Develop and adjust lesson plans based on student needs and performance data Maintain accurate records of student progress and intervention outcomes Support student engagement, motivation, and academic confidence Participating in PLCs, data meetings, and school-wide initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education (required) Valid teaching certification Strong background in Math and/or ELA instruction at the middle school level Experience working with struggling learners or intervention programs Ability to analyze data and adjust instruction accordingly Strong classroom management and communication skills Passion for supporting diverse learners and closing achievement gaps Preferred Skills & Experience Experience with intervention programs or MTSS framework Familiarity with standards-based instruction Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Experience in urban or diverse school settings Join us as an Intervention Teacher and become a catalyst for positive change!
