Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or higher and possess a valid current Florida teaching certificate in Math 5-9. The applicant must be a caring, highly motivated, results-oriented individual who has a "learning for all whatever it takes" attitude. The applicant must have the ability to think critically about student learning and use data to drive instruction. Effective classroom management is required as well as evident organizational and planning skills. The applicant will build relationships and have high expectations for students achieving their learning goals. He or she must create a classroom learning environment where all students are engaged in meaningful learning experiences. He or she must be a team player who is willing to collaborate with others and be able to accept constructive feedback.
