The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematics, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to make mathematical concepts engaging and understandable for students of varying skill levels. A strong financial background is highly preferred to support real-world applications of mathematics and financial literacy instruction. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with curriculum standards for Grades 3-8. Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, projects, and classroom participation. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Integrate practical financial literacy concepts into mathematics instruction when appropriate. Maintain accurate student records, grades, and progress reports. Communicate effectively with parents, administrators, and colleagues regarding student performance and development. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and school events. Utilize educational technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field. Minimum of one (1) year of mathematics teaching experience. Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts for elementary and middle school students (Grades 3-8). Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve academic success. Preferred Strong financial background, including knowledge of budgeting, financial literacy, accounting, finance, or related fields. Experience teaching financial literacy concepts. Teaching certification or eligibility for certification. Experience working in diverse educational environments. Skills and Competencies Strong instructional and lesson-planning abilities. Effective problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems. Commitment to student achievement and continuous professional growth. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school leadership.
