Atlanta Prep is a specialized private school serving approximately 30 students, where each student's schedule is individualized to meet their unique needs. Our unique model provides 1:1 personalized instruction in ELA and Math, along with small group instruction in other academic areas. In addition, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and ABA services are seamlessly integrated into each student's daily schedule, creating a cohesive, consistent, and supportive learning experience. Atlanta Prep is seeking a One-on-One Math Teacher to provide individualized math instruction to students with diverse learning profiles. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching math, skilled in differentiating instruction, and committed to helping students build confidence and mastery in math. This is an opportunity to do impactful work in a setting where individualized instruction is truly prioritized. Our model removes many of the administrative burdens found in traditional school settings, allowing educators to focus on what matters most—teaching, building relationships, and helping students succeed.Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized (1:1) math instruction tailored to each student's academic level and learning style Develop and implement engaging, student-centered lesson plans Break down complex math concepts into manageable, accessible steps Collaborate with staff to support student goals Track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Maintain a structured, positive, and supportive learning environmentQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (required) Experience working with students with special needs (preferred) Strong understanding of foundational math concepts Ability to differentiate instruction and use creative teaching strategies Excellent communication and collaboration skills Patience, flexibility, and a passion for helping students succeedPreferred Experience:
Background in special education or ABA environments Experience with individualized instruction or tutoring Exposure to or willingness to learn the Eureka Math curriculum (prior experience not required)What We Offer:
Competitive salary ($38,000•45,000 based on experience) No IEP writing or case management requirements — allowing you to focus fully on instruction and student growth Behavior support provided through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Small caseload (fewer than 15 students) for meaningful, individualized instruction Shorter workday: approximately 7 hours daily (8:00 AM•3:00 PM) Less than 200 working days per year Flexible planning time 401(k) with employer matching Paid Time Off (PTO) Opportunities for additional summer camp employment Parent Appreciation Perks throughout the year Supportive, collaborative team environmentSchedule:
