Reading Interventionist & Math Interventionist

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one K-12 Math or Reading intervention to students in grades 1-12.

A FAE InterventionIst will:

• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
• Collaborate with parents, and other professionals to develop individualized intervention plans
• Monitor and track progress of students' goals and objectives
• Provide academic advising and support to help students achieve their educational goals
• Assist with education administration tasks such as record keeping and data collection
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and progress
• Develop and implement instructional materials and activities to enhance learning

Experience:

• GAPSC Certification preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
• Familiarity with state academic standards
• Proficiency in math concepts and/or reading concepts relevant to Georgia K-12 education
