Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Talented and Gifted (TAG) Teacher to inspire and challenge students with exceptional abilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure advanced learning, nurture creativity, and develop individualized educational plans that meet the unique needs of gifted learners. As a vital member of our educational team, you will create an engaging, stimulating environment that promotes intellectual growth, curiosity, and a love for learning. Your expertise will help unlock each student's full potential through innovative teaching strategies and personalized instruction. Duties Develop engaging lesson plans that integrate creative writing, literacy education, math enrichment, physical education, and other core subjects to stimulate advanced thinking Utilize classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning environment conducive to exploration and discovery Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and ongoing evaluations; adapt instruction accordingly Provide academic advising and mentorship to support students' social-emotional development and individual interests Maintain accurate records of student performance, lesson plans, and instructional activities; proofread materials for clarity and accuracy Engage in professional development opportunities related to education administration, tutoring techniques, or specialized teaching certifications Qualifications Proven classroom experience working with children or students in a gifted program Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and academic advising practices Join us in shaping the future by inspiring talented learners!
