05/20/2026 Lake Forest School District 67 is seeking June Summer School Teachers (1-4) to support students in Math and Language Arts. The compensation is $50/hour for instruction and $25/hour for planning. Please see the attached Summer School schedule.
Description:
The Summer School Teacher provides academic support to elementary students who would like additional instruction in Mathematics and English/Language Arts. The Summer School teacher will design instruction to meet the needs of all students by offering differentiated lessons that highlight key skills in the assigned grade levels.
The Summer Learning Teacher will:
Collaborate with each student to develop a deeper understanding of critical core content. Develop daily lesson plans that provide academic support and preserve social emotional well-being for students. Communicate with students and parents/guardians regularly. Communicate the need for additional resources and student support to the Director of Teaching and Learning.
Qualifications:
A current Professional Educator License (PEL) with an Elementary Education endorsement.
