  • Support the implementation of Norwood's core literacy and math programs.
  • Provide targeted, ongoing direct service in Literacy and Math to identified students.
  • Teach or co-teach small groups in ELA and/or math as needed.
  • Using assessment data, collaborate with classroom teachers, Reading Specialists, Building Principals, ELA and Math Coordinators, and 6-12 Department Chairs to identify students needing further intervention.
  • Support classroom teachers to implement the
RTI/MTSS
model with fidelity.
  • Assemble appropriate instructional materials and develop differentiated lesson plans to meet student's needs.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to flexibly group students according to need and progress monitoring data.
  • Use assessment data to target specific areas where students need additional ELA and Math support.
  • Monitor identified students' progress.
  • Share assessment data with student's classroom teachers and use data to inform future lessons.
  • Share all student assessment and performance results with classroom teachers, Reading Specialists, Principals, Coordinators, and Department Chairs for the purpose of reporting progress.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Building Principal.
