Overview Join our dynamic educational team as a High School Mathematics Teacher, where your passion for math and dedication to student success will inspire the next generation of thinkers, problem-solvers, and innovators. Your expertise will help students develop a solid understanding of mathematical concepts, from algebra to calculus, while supporting their overall academic growth. Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating diverse teaching methods and learning technology tools Deliver engaging classroom instruction in areas including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, and other advanced mathematics topics Assess student progress through tests, quizzes, projects, and standardized assessments; provide timely feedback to support individual learning paths Develop innovative curriculum materials and instructional resources to enhance student understanding and interest in mathematics Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment conducive to active participation and collaboration Mentor students by providing academic advising, tutoring support, and guidance on college or career pathways related to STEM fields Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, research initiatives, and school-wide educational strategies to improve overall teaching quality Engage in ongoing professional development in areas such as instructional design, research laboratory experience, special education techniques, and educational administration Experience Proven classroom experience teaching high school mathematics with a strong record of student engagement and achievement Familiarity with curriculum development for diverse learners including those in private school settings or special education programs Experience integrating learning technology tools into lesson plans for enhanced instructional delivery Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and effective strategies for test preparation and student assessment Background in scientific research or laboratory experience related to biology or chemistry is a plus but not required Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering an inclusive environment for all students Higher education teaching experience or mentoring roles that showcase your ability to guide students through complex mathematical concepts such as differential equations or molecular biology topics Join us in shaping bright futures by inspiring curiosity and excellence in mathematics!
