Aug 31, 2026 Job Description Description Brunswick High School is seeking a full-time Mathematics teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for dynamic, student-centered educators who are passionate about mathematics. The successful candidates will be able to teach all levels of mathematics, with preference given to applicants who have the ability to teach AP level calculus courses. Responsibilities Teach a range of courses from introductory through advanced levels in mathematics Create an engaging, communicative classroom environment Design and implement lessons aligned with the College Board standards for AP level courses Apply strong foundational knowledge of core mathematical skills in instructional practice Adapt and develop curriculum to meet student needs and program goals Use technology effectively to enhance learning and student engagement Collaborate with colleagues, share best practices, and contribute to a supportive professional learning community Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching grades 9-12 Ability to teach AP Calculus Experience integrating technology Required Qualifications Valid State of Maine Department of Education certification in Mathematics(300) Valid State of Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) authorization Bachelor's degree, preferrably in Mathematics or Mathematics Education.
