Eastpointe Community Schools is in the business of transforming lives. Our partnership with the Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD), Michigan Department of Education (MDE), and the University of Virginia's Partners for Leaders in Education (UVA-PLE) has created a unique opportunity for rapid district turnaround. Part of our continued growth and improvement involves increasing educational expectations, developing a culture of support, and nurturing all students to address academic, behavioral, and interpersonal needs. Eastpointe Secondary Campus is a unique venue, supporting approximately 800 students in grades 8-12. Our campus consists of four schools on one campus (8th Grade Academy, a traditional high school setting for grades 9-12, and a Virtual Academy/Alternative Center). We prepare our students for college and career. Our secondary campus is a great fit for you with a stellar and supportive staff including two counselors, one assistant principal, a DEAN, instructional coaches, and mentors. Our Middle School Campus is home to grade 6 and 7 students, a Principal and an Assistant Principal, a Counselor and a Social Worker.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Education with Math Major, or beyond State of Michigan Teaching Certification, (EX) Grades 6-12 or in process Organizational Skills Knowledgeable in student management techniques; community-oriented Experience working with a diverse population Successful Classroom teaching experience
Salary Data:
