High School Mathematics Teacher

The Ishpeming Public School District announces a vacancy for a full-time high school mathematics teacher at Ishpeming High School. Candidates must possess a minimum of a

B.A./B.S.

degree and Michigan secondary mathematics certification. Mathematics major is required with an EX endorsement. Candidates must meet the

USDOE/MDE

highly qualified requirements. Candidates must possess a strong background in mathematics. Candidates must possess strong instructional skills. Candidates must possess the ability to plan, organize, and instruct mathematics classes at all levels in grades 9-12. Candidates must possess classroom management skills. The Board of Education may employ an individual with such alternative qualifications that the Board may find to be acceptable and appropriate.
