Job Description

The Ishpeming Public School District announces a vacancy for a full-time high school mathematics teacher at Ishpeming High School. Candidates must possess a minimum of a
B.A./B.S.
degree and Michigan secondary mathematics certification. Mathematics major is required with an EX endorsement. Candidates must meet the
USDOE/MDE
highly qualified requirements. Candidates must possess a strong background in mathematics. Candidates must possess strong instructional skills. Candidates must possess the ability to plan, organize, and instruct mathematics classes at all levels in grades 9-12. Candidates must possess classroom management skills. The Board of Education may employ an individual with such alternative qualifications that the Board may find to be acceptable and appropriate. Qualified applicants may submit a letter of interest, a district application, complete transcripts, MTTC results, and a resume to: Carrie Meyer, Superintendent of Schools Ishpeming High School 319 East Division Street Ishpeming, MI 49849 not later than 12:00 p.m. on April 30, 2026.

$42,821.66 - $54,811.72 per year
