Job Description

Our Lady of Peace School (OLP) is seeking a full-time 3rd Grade Teacher for the 2026-27 academic year. At OLP, we are committed to forming students who are safe, seen, and supported as they grow academically, socially, and spiritually. We are seeking a teacher who brings energy, joy, and a deep love of learning to the classroom, while fostering strong relationships with students and families. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong classroom leadership, a commitment to academic excellence, and a passion for nurturing the whole child. This faculty member will support the mission of OLP by: Creating a classroom environment where every student feels safe, seen, and supported, and where belonging is intentionally cultivated. Integrating Catholic values and traditions into daily instruction, helping students grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Delivering engaging, standards-based instruction that challenges students to think critically and achieve high academic outcomes. Building a classroom culture rooted in respect, responsibility, and personal integrity. Encouraging perseverance, curiosity, and a growth mindset so that students take ownership of their learning and strive for continuous improvement. Partnering with colleagues and families to support student success and well-being. Actively participating in the professional life of the school through collaboration, staff development, and shared leadership opportunities.
