March 9, 2026 Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of Health Teacher .5 FTE The Willmar Area Learning Center (ALC) provides a dynamic alternative education option for students in the Willmar community and surrounding areas. Our program is designed to meet students where they are and provide flexible, personalized pathways toward graduation. Teachers at the ALC deliver both whole-group instruction and individualized credit-recovery courses:

• Whole-Group Courses:

  Focused instruction in a single subject area where students learn collaboratively.

Credit-Recovery Courses:

Personalized learning experiences where students work independently, with teacher support, to recover credits and address gaps from previously unsuccessful coursework.

Position Health Teacher .5 FTE Location Area Learning Center Rate of Pay Based upon credentials including Education and Experience as per Teacher Master agreement.

Bachelor's Degree Range:

$52,870 to $85,544

Master's Degree Range:

$60,558 to $91,310 Master's + 40/

PhD/PsyS/EdS/EdD Range:

$68,246 to $93,232 Hours Per Day 3.75 Hours Per Day Schedule (Approximately) To Be Determined Working Days per Year 182 2026-2027 School Year Benefits Benefits may be prorated based upon start date.
