This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for educators passionate about fostering curiosity and understanding in students across grades 7-12 during the new school year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification with endorsement in Math for grades 7-12 Experience in general education and math instruction preferred Ability to design engaging lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles Strong classroom management and communication skills Commitment to cultivating a respectful, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment Familiarity with state standards and assessment strategies
Responsibilities:
Deliver mathematics instruction to junior high and high school students, adapting teaching approaches as needed Develop and implement creative, effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to enhance curriculum and address students' unique academic needs Maintain accurate records, including attendance, grades, and behavior documentation Support students' personal growth by building a positive classroom culture and addressing individual needs
