Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a full-time Mathematics Teacher for grades 7-12 in a junior high and high school setting. This contract position is ideal for dedicated educators passionate about fostering a positive, engaging learning environment for adolescents, encouraging growth and academic achievement.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Active teaching certification for Mathematics, grades 7-12 Background in junior high and/or high school math instruction Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction Excellent communication and organizational abilities Experience designing engaging curriculum content for general education students Commitment to collaboration with staff, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive math instruction to students in grades 7-12 Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state and district standards Assess student performance and adapt teaching methods to address diverse learning styles and needs Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture that promotes student participation Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support school-wide initiatives Participate in professional development and school activities as required Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families
