Teacher K-8

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher for grades K-8 who is committed to instructional excellence and grounded in a Biblical worldview. The ideal candidate will create a structured and engaging classroom environment that supports both academic achievement and character development. Duties Develop comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for K-8 students, incorporating diverse teaching methods and learning technologies such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital tools. Create engaging instructional materials that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Manage classroom activities effectively to foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Assess student progress through formative assessments, and ongoing observations; provide constructive feedback to support growth. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, academic advising, and integrating innovative learning technology solutions. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, behavior, and upcoming activities; provide tutoring or additional support as needed. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavioral reports in accordance with education administration standards. Engage in ongoing professional development series Deliver high-quality, standards-aligned instruction Establish a Christ-centered classroom culture Differentiate instruction to meet student needs Use data to drive student growth Build strong relationships with students and families Collaborate with staff and integrate faith daily Experience Prior classroom experience working with children across K-8 grade levels in diverse educational settings. Proven expertise in curriculum development tailored to different age groups and learning styles. Experience utilizing LMS platforms and integrating learning technology into daily instruction. Strong background in literacy education, math instruction, and/or physical education. Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering creativity and critical thinking skills.
