Teaching Middle School Math, Algebra and Geometry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves teaching various mathematical concepts, from basic algebra to geometry. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Teach mathematical concepts including algebra, and geometry. Provide academic advising and support to students in their mathematical studies. Conduct standardized testing and assess student performance regularly. Proofread and review student assignments for accuracy and understanding. Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills through research-based projects. Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Experience A degree in Mathematics or Education with a focus on mathematics is preferred. Experience in teaching mathematics at the middle school level. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and academic advising practices. Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance instruction. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and faculty. A commitment to continuous professional development in the field of education.
