Part Time Math Instructor

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in direct math instruction with an understanding of specialized instruction. Differentiation and modifications in subject area and a commitment to fostering an engaging learning environment. A must. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction, supporting student success, and contributing to the academic community. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate discussions that encourage student participation. Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic progress. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and share resources. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and community outreach initiatives. Support students outside of class through office hours and academic advising. Qualifications A minimum of a bachelor's degree in the relevant field; advanced degrees are preferred. Previous teaching experience at the university level is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms. A commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
