Longleaf School of the Arts is a North Carolina public charter high school. We are a college preparatory school focusing on the fine arts.

Job Summary:
The Math Teacher will be responsible for developing in each student an interest in math and problem solving. He or she will also possess the ability to work with multiple levels of aptitude in each classroom. The candidate must demonstrate a high proficiency in various levels of high school math curriculum. Instruction in math includes content vocabulary, real-world application, and knowledge of the school's three teaching ideologies.
Job Description:
? Responsible for creating standards-based lesson plans for all classes, while being innovative in these lessons, incorporating arts into the academic lessons ? High level of understanding on how to use technology in the classroom; Longleaf is a 1:1 school ? Work collaboratively with members in the department as well as across curriculums ? Provide individual and small-group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of students with varying intellectual abilities, and to accommodate a variety of instructional activities ? Knowledge of classroom management strategies
Minimum Requirements:
? Bachelors or Masters degree ? NC Teacher License in Mathematics is required
