Lisbon Regional School is looking for a qualified candidate for the 2026-2027 school year to teach High School Math. Lisbon Regional School is a small K-12 school with a highly engaged staff and very low turnover from year to year. Salary is determined by the Lisbon Teachers Association Collective Bargaining Agreement Except as specifically noted, the following functions are considered essential to this position: Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of each student, and encourages mutual respect and effective learning. Plans lessons that employ a variety of 21st century learning instructional strategies that, when implemented, strives to meet the needs and capabilities of each student based on assessment data in your classroom. Follow curriculum goals and objectives to write appropriate lesson plans designed to meet the learning needs of each student in your classroom. Understands how students learn and develop and provides opportunities that support their growth in cognitive, linguistic, creative, social, moral, emotional, and physical development. Assess students for the purpose of providing feedback to the teacher, students, parents, administration, regarding student's growth, meeting expectations, and goals. Utilizes data from standardized tests and a variety of formative and summative assessment to drive instruction.
