Job Description
Certified Financial Planning Instructor This part-time, remote role presents a unique opportunity to help shape how Certified Financial Planning is taught within the LCMC — a national college consortium with 130+ colleges and 230,000+ students. We are sourcing qualified individuals to teach Rize-powered Pathways courses to undergraduate students across the LCMC. These shared virtual classes are designed to help students develop practical, career-relevant skills through engaging, applied learning experiences in high-demand fields. Because of this growth, this opportunity includes: Exceptional instructional design and instructor support The opportunity to help students build practical, career-ready skills The opportunity to teach students from colleges across the country Potential for additional instructional opportunities as programs continue to expand Main Deliverables Instruction of one or more sections of Certified Financial Planning courses found HERE Providing timely, actionable, and student-centered feedback Supporting student engagement and persistence in a fully online environment Facilitating discussions and applied learning experiences tied to industry-relevant skills Maintaining regular communication with students and supporting an engaging online learning environment About the Courses Rize-powered Pathways courses are designed around career readiness and applied learning. Assignments emphasize real-world projects and practical skill development to help students build professional portfolios and prepare for employment in high-demand industries. Our Rize-powered courses share the following attributes: Fully virtual, asynchronous classes Projects and applied learning experiences over exams where appropriate Frequent discussions and opportunities for collaboration Strong acknowledgement of industry practices and workforce trends Free (open source) or low-cost course materials Delivered through, and supervised by, a fully-accredited, not-for-profit four-year college Desired Experience and Qualifications A master's degree or higher in Finance or other relevant field. Please note, this is a firm requirement.
