Aug 24, 2026 Job Description Oakland School District is now accepting applications for a 3/4 teacher to provide core academic instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics to students in grades three and four. This position serves as a departmentalized teaching assignment and is not a self-contained homeroom or blended classroom. Estimated start date: August 24, 2026 DEFINITION
OF DUTIES
Provide instruction to 3rd/4th grade students along with other duties as assigned by principal.
QUALIFICATIONS
Current Oregon Teaching License with proper endorsement; energetic team player; positive classroom manager; preference given to those candidates with practical and working knowledge of PBIS (Positive Behavior Support) strategies. PERS 6% is paid by the district and offers a generous comprehensive family medical/dental/vision insurance package
POSTION IS OPEN UNTIL FILLED
Oakland School District is on a 4 day school week. Mon-Thurs, 7:30 am-4:15 pm, 2 Fri's/month for 6 hrs/day.
