We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking educator to join our fast-growing school as a Math Teacher . Our math teachers work collaboratively under the guidance of the Principal and Math Department Head to support student learning and contribute to our overall school improvement goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based math instruction for individuals and small/large groups Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect differentiated instruction and promote student success Provide support and instruction across various math content areas aligned with grade-level expectations Analyze student data to inform instruction and adjust teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and a love of learning Collaborate regularly with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to improve teaching practices and student outcomes Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to support student progress Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and curriculum planning Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's preferred) Prior teaching experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to continuous growth and professional learning Enthusiasm for teaching and nurturing the whole child in a Jewish day school environment
