Responsible for providing high-quality instruction to elementary students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of all learners. Plans and implements engaging lessons that align with state and district curriculum standards, utilizing a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs. Assesses student progress regularly, provides timely feedback, and adjusts instruction as necessary to ensure student growth. Collaborates with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to create a cohesive educational experience. Maintains accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation. Communicates effectively and professionally with students, parents, and guardians regarding classroom expectations, student progress, and ways to support learning at home. Participates in professional development opportunities, staff meetings, and school events as required. Manages classroom behavior in accordance with district policies, promoting respect, responsibility, and a safe learning environment. Uses technology and other resources to enhance instruction and student engagement. Upholds all district policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
